Chicago DJ and producer Lee Foss has become a global leader in modern underground house, known for his unique ear and acclaimed releases on his labels Hot Creations and Repopulate Mars. His love for house and disco began in the ’90s, but a life-changing trip to Ibiza in 2001, where he met Jamie Jones, reshaped his musical path. Together, they formed Hot Natured and produced hits like “Benediction” and “Reverse Skydiving.” In 2008, Lee co-founded Hot Creations, pioneering a distinct sound that earned the label DJ Awards’ Record Label of the Year in 2019. In 2018, he launched Repopulate Mars, which quickly became DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough Label. Lee also runs sub-labels South of Saturn and Emerald City, further cementing his position as an innovative and experimental force in dance music.
